How are the sessions structured?

The entire session is an hour long. It’s broken into three charlas of 15 minutes and you’ll be with just one, occasionally two, other people. Before each charla and to change partners, we’ll all be together and relaxed, unwind etc in English.

Where do we meet? On Zoom!

You’ll get the Zoom link for meetings through the Calendar at:

https://www.skool.com/charlemos-chat-in-spanish-9775/calendar

Meeting ID: 650 422 6477
Passcode: 110122

And remember...

The Zoom room is open – with a waiting area – well before the official start time so feel free to arrive early! When we’re all together we speak English – there’s no need to be speaking Spanish in front of everyone – in fact I discourage it. If you can’t arrive until after the session starts, that’s OK. You may have to wait a bit but you’ll eventually be pulled into the session!
When we speak Spanish with each other we don’t correct or teach each other. Try to avoid asking the other person how to say something – at ¡Charlemos! we practice remembering or discovering what we don’t know. Just use English and make a note for yourself if it’s something that you could work on later.
¡Charlemos! does not do what many other groups do – it’s not a language exchange – it is not a class – there is no teacher – there is no topic given to you. We focus on using everyday useful Spanish in as relaxed a format as I’ve been able to design!
If you’re feeling super-nervous and don’t want to speak Spanish to start with, that’s no problem. Tell the facilitator you’d like to be an Observer. You’ll be put in a room with two others and will just be able to watch how we do things with absolutely no pressure!
To find out more… just turn up!
