OK - so this was a tad hard for you to follow...

That’s OK – it’s good to find out that you’re not quite ready to join us. That way, you won’t get stressed by being out of your depth and eventually giving up!

So what should you do next?

To improve your comprehension you need to be listening to material that is around your level of comprehension. It must not be too difficult!

YouTube is a great source of material of this type and my recommendations are:

Dreaming Spanish
Spanish After Hours
Español con Juan
and at a slightly more advanced level:
Español Automatico
Spanish Input
Use Your Spanish.

If you are at a Beginner level and really want to practice speaking with others, my first recommendation would be to find a good teacher – perhaps on iTalki and one of the members of the Charlemos community has a Meetup group on Zoom where she divides learners into Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Sometimes, there is a qualified Spanish teacher there as well.

If you have time, I’d really appreciate you Messaging me to say you’ve visited the site and let me know what you plan to do to advance your Spanish.

¡Buena suerte! and do come back when you´re ready!

Hola! We have had a rush of applications to join recently and so your request may not be handled immediately. This is so new members can become integrated into the community that is ¡Charlemos! Spanish. Please go ahead and start the process but be aware that you may not hear back from me for at least a week or two!
